What happened, and what your realistic options are.
A replacement vehicle after a non-fault accident is a credit agreement, not a free courtesy car. If the claim does not succeed, the hire bill is yours. Anyone who glosses over that is not on your side.
You are always free to claim through your own insurer instead. We will tell you when that is the better option.

We are not an insurer, not an insurance broker and not solicitors. The most important thing on this website is this: a replacement vehicle under credit hire is a contract between you and us, and if the claim fails or is only partly successful, you are personally liable for the hire charges. We put that in writing before you sign anything. You are also free to claim through your own insurer, to choose your own repairer, and to pursue a low-value injury claim yourself for free at officialinjuryclaim.org.uk.
No, and anyone telling you it is should worry you. It is supplied under a credit hire agreement. The charges are normally recovered from the at-fault party's insurer, but if the claim fails or is only partly successful, you owe them.
Sometimes, yes, and we will tell you when. Going through your own insurer may cost you your excess and affect your no-claims discount, but it carries none of the credit hire risk. It is your call and we will set out both.
No. You can use any repairer you choose, including a manufacturer dealer to protect a warranty. An insurer or management company cannot require you to use theirs.
Injury claims are legal work. We refer you to an independent SRA-regulated solicitor and we take no referral fee — those are banned in personal injury cases. You can also claim low-value injury yourself, free, through the Official Injury Claim service.
No. We do not make unsolicited marketing calls. If someone rings you out of the blue after an accident claiming to be us, it is not us.
Then the claim is contested and the risk changes materially — particularly around hire charges. We will tell you that straight away rather than after a vehicle is already on your drive.
